Camp I'm Still Me
Camp I'm Still Me (CISM) is a free summer camp for children aged 5-17 who have sustained burn injuries. It was founded in 1992 by burn specialist Dr. Kevin Sittig and is held annually in Scottsville, Texas. Campers participate in various activities such as games, crafts, swimming, and fishing, and can find comfort and support in the 3:1 camper-to-counselor ratio and the presence of adult burn survivors as counselors.
